The all-new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee, coming soon to Magog Concept, close to Sherbrooke, will stay true to its predecessors’ traditions with a model that will be just as colorful and performant.
2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee: prices and versions
The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee comes in several versions:
- Grand Cherokee Laredo: $ 51,545
- Grand Cherokee Altitude: $ 55,040
- Grand Cherokee Limited: $ 59,045
- Grand Cherokee Trailhawk: $ 63,645
- Grand Cherokee Overland: $ 68,045
- Grand Cherokee Summit: $ 73,545
- Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve: $ 78,040
Moreover, Limited, Trailhawk, Overland and Summit versions will be offering –a little later in the year- a plug-in hybrid version that will become part of the Jeep plug-in hybrid category (alongside with the Wrangler 4xe); a category that will definitely keep expanding over the next few years.
You should also take note the Trackhawk version has disappeared, but rest assured: it will remain available on the 2022 Grand Cherokee WK, sold alongside with the new 2022 model.
Powertrain
Under the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee hood, the following options are now made available to you:
- A 3.6 L V6 with 293 horsepower;
- A 5.7 L V8 with 357 horsepower;
- A 2.0 L 4- cylinder turbo + electric motor with a total of 375 horsepower.
When it comes to towing capacity, the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee is still at the top of its category with a capacity that ranges from 6,200 and 7,200 pounds. In the case of the 4xe version, maximum capacity reaches 6,000 pounds, which is great for a hybrid.
A spacious interior
The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee has a top-quality spacious and inviting interior that can welcome up to 5 passengers.
Moreover, it is now offered in the Grand Cherokee L version, which has 3 rows of seats and can welcome up to 7 people.
When it comes to cargo space, the 2022 Grand Cherokee offers space ranging between 1,068 and 2,005 L, depending on if rear seats are folded down or not. As you can see, you have access to more cargo space than what was offered on the 2021 model.
