The 2022 RAM 1500 sells at a base price that varies between $ 46,945 and $ 79,595, a price scale that is close to that of the Silverado. Let’s also mention the powerful TRX version for the RAM 1500, which sells at $ 101,095, as well as the new models like the Rebel G/T, Laramie G/T, BackCountry and special 10th Anniversary Edition.
A design that doesn’t go unnoticed

The 2022 RAM 1500 can come with one of the following 4 engines, and be coupled with a 4x2 or 4x4 system, depending on model:
- A 3.6 L V6 with 305 horsepower and eTorque technology;
- A 5.7 L V8 with 395 horsepower, with or without eTorque;
- A 3.0 L V6 EcoDiesel with 260 horsepower;
- A turbocharged 6.2 L V8 with 702 horsepower.
You should take note that the latter is exclusively offered on the TRX version and has no equivalent on the Chevrolet.
Moreover, the RAM 1500 has a maximum towing capacity of 12,750 pounds with the 5.7 L V8 and up to 12,560 pounds for the diesel engine, which is much more than the maximum towing capacity for the diesel Silverado, which only reaches 9,300 pounds.
The Chevrolet truck also only offers engines with power ranging from 277 and 420 horsepower.
