In the long run, the 2023 Dodge Hornet will be offering both a fuel and a plug-in hybrid model, although for the launch, only the heat engine version will be offered. It will come with a 2.0 L 4- cylinder turbocharged Hurricane4 engine with 265 horsepower and 295 lb-ft. maximum torque, and will be coupled with a 9- speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is also standard offered.
As for the plug-in hybrid model, it will have a 1.3 L turbocharged engine coupled with a 90 kW electric motor and a 15.5 kWh battery. With a net 285 horsepower and 383 lb-ft. maximum torque, the Hornet PHEV offers the highest level of power in its category.
Moreover, it will allow you to drive for up to 48 kilometers in fully electric mode and you will only need 2.5 hours to reach full charge on a 240 V charging station.

Other technical features
No matter the model you choose, the 2023 Hornet will be equipped with a dual-stage-valve suspension, front Brembo brakes and Koni evolved shock absorbers, amongst other things.
Technologies and features
The added technologies will be abundant aboard the 2023 Dodge Hornet, and so will be the long list of features! It will include a 12.3- inch digital instrumentation panel, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, the Uconnect 5 system with a 10.25- inch touch screen, wireless cellphone charging, a 465 watt Harman/Kardon sound system and much more, depending on selected version and options.
